Cargojet Airways (W8, Hamilton, ON) says the first European destination it will serve as part of its partnership with Air Canada Cargo, is Frankfurt Int'l, Germany.
The cargo specialist said in a statement that effective November 19, it would operate weekly flights to the German commercial gateway using B767-300(F) equipment.
"This new flight will provide connectivity with flights already operating to/from México City and to the recently expanded second frequency per week operated between Canada and Bogotá, Colombia and Lima Int'l, Peru, which began in mid-October," it said.
The two parties finalized the agreement earlier this year with Air Canada Cargo wet-leasing the B767 freighters from Cargojet.
